With Halloween finally just around the corner, I decided to try this ~spooky~ recipe. It takes about five minutes to make and is one of the most popular drinks at New York’s Jekyll and Hyde Club, according to delish.com. Unfortunately, our underage readers don’t have many options with this and should probably just stick to pineapple juice.
- one ounce (or more) of light rum
- two ounces (or more) of coconut rum
- one ounce of blue curacao
- pineapple juice
- a pineapple wedge for garnish
Combine both of the rums as well as the blue curacao in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake the mixture, and then pour it into a cocktail glass. Fill the glass with chilled pineapple juice and garnish with a pineapple wedge. This recipe is for one serving, so if you’re ~cool~ and plan on having company, I would suggest at least quadrupling the recipe or making a punch bowl. “Drink responsibly” and have a “safe and sober” Halloween.
