An open forum will be held for student comment in the Wilbur Cross Building’s North Reading Room at 3:30 p.m. on Monday as part of the University of Connecticut’s reaccreditation process.

The New England Association of Schools and College’s (NEASC) Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE) is the process of reaccrediting UConn, as it does every 10 years.

From Monday until Wednesday a team of accreditors will be on UConn’s campus. The team will include faculty, staff and administrators from nine other universities including the University of Massachusetts, Brown University and Tufts University, according to a letter sent from UConn’s Provost’s office to the student body.

A committee of UConn faculty, staff and administrators have spent the last two years composing a report for the reaccreditation, which is available here.

There will also be an open forum for faculty in the Rowe Building’s Room 122 and a staff open forum in the Gentry Building’s Rooms 144 and 142.
