UConn transfer big man Steven Enoch has committed to the University of Louisville, sources told Rivals’s Corey Evans Sunday afternoon.

Enoch, who was officially granted his release from the UConn men’s basketball program on Apr. 4, will sit out for the 2017-18 season under the NCAA transfer rules before becoming eligible in 2018-19. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

After receiving limited minutes during his freshman year, Enoch averaged 3.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game last season. He struggled to earn minutes in head coach Kevin Ollie’s rotation despite the team’s numerous injuries.

The 6-foot-11, 258-pound Enoch was a former ESPN 100 recruit.
