Guard Rodney Purvis, who graduated from UConn last year, has agreed to a “partially guaranteed” contract with the Orlando Magic, ESPN’s Ian Begley reported Monday.

Begley also reports that Purvis’ deal contains an Exhibit 10 clause, which provides a bonus if Purvis is waived by the Magic and then signs with Orlando’s G-League team, the Lakeland Magic.

The 23-year old guard played three years in Storrs after transferring from NC State, averaging 12.8 points in 31.4 minutes per game. He graduated and earned his degree last May after his senior season, in which he made 32 starts and averaged 36.9 minutes per game.
Purvis went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft and spent some time playing for the Jazz in the NBA Summer League.
