It’s officially fall, which means it is once again socially acceptable to eat nothing but apples and pumpkins until winter. Inspired by the former of these two fall themed foods, our Thirsty Thursday drink for this week is a more seasonal take on a Moscow Mule. In all, the ingredients cost under $10, and there was plenty left over to make another drink.
- Two ounces of vodka
- Hard cider
- Ginger beer
- Sliced apple
- A dash of cinnamon
Fill your glass (or, preferably, copper mug) with ice and then pour in the two ounces of vodka. Fill the glass ¾ of the way with the cider, then top off with the ginger beer. Garnish with an apple slice and toss in a dash of cinnamon. Try to mix in the cinnamon a little bit so that it’s not just resting on the top. Our Hard Cider Mule is the perfect mix between summer and fall, each ingredient working flawlessly with one another to create the perfect apple themed drink.
Thirsty Thursday is created by of-age students in the Daily Campus Life section. Recommendations can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will respond if we are sober.
