The No. 5 UConn field hockey team will travel to Washington, D.C to take on Big East opponent Georgetown Friday at 2 p.m. and American University Sunday at 1 p.m. These will be the final two regular season games for the Huskies (14-3, 6-0 Big East), with the Big East Tournament semifinals set to take place on Nov. 2.

The UConn field hockey team clinched the regular season Big East title with a 6-1 victory over No. 19 Liberty on Thursday evening at the George J Sherman Family Sports Complex. The win improved the Huskies to 6-0 in Big East play and 6-3 against ranked opponents.

he UConn field hockey team is set to face off against Providence Friday for the semifinals of the Big East tournament. The Huskies were the regular season champions, going undefeated in 17 games. They are ranked No. 1 in the nation.
