The UConn men’s soccer team is set to play their second game of the week this Friday, as they head back to Dillon Stadium to take on Columbia University. The Huskies are coming off a strong performance against Manhattan College in which they came out on top 2-0 and will look to add another win to their total against the Lions.
The men’s soccer team is back in action this Friday to face off against Fairleigh Dickinson University in their third game of the season. This will be the first matchup between the two schools in their history.
“The biggest thing I’ve learned is the consistency of giving 100 percent every day,” he said. “I think when I first came here, some days I’m not feeling it, so I’d go 60 percent, some days I’d go 80 and some days, I feel good, so I’d go 100 percent. But now, every day, no matter what we are doing, I’m giving 100 percent.”
The UConn men’s soccer team won its third straight American Athletic Conference game on Saturday night, defeating Cincinnati to remain undefeated in conference play. Abdou Mbacke Thiam sent home the game-winner in the 79th minute to give the Huskies a 1-0 victory.
