The Collegiate Baseball Preseason First Team All-American continued his resurgence from injury with a 6.2 inning performance against Memphis Friday.
The UConn Men’s Track & Field team took part in the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday and Saturday and many athletes had great showings. This meet was unlike any other that the Huskies have experienced this season with over 90 teams and thousands of athletes participating.
Both the UConn men’s and women’s track and field teams made the trip down to New York City this weekend, taking part in the Columbia Challenge at the NYC Armory. The Huskies put up a respectable performance overall, placing eighth out of 16 in the men’s scored events and fourth out of 37 in the women’s College events.
The UConn men’s track and field team had their first meet of the season on Saturday at Boston University, and while it was non-scoring, they did hold their annual Blue/White intra-squad meet. The meet will conclude Thursday and Friday at the UConn Heptathlon, but as of now the Blue team is in the lead by two points.
