Lab results now available through Student Health Services

University of Connecticut students who get lab work done at Student Health Services (SHS) can now access the results of that work through their health portal, located at myhealth.uconn.edu.

Once students log into their account on the my health portal, they should click on “My Profile,” then click on “Lab History” from the dropdown menu.

Two UConn Health employees on leave after York prison inmate gives birth in cell

Two University of Connecticut Health employees have been placed on leave after an inmate gave birth in her prison cell at York Correctional Facility in Niantic early Tuesday morning.

UConn Health has been contracted by the Connecticut Department of Correction (DOC) since 1997 to manage all healthcare needs of inmates within the DOC, according to UConn Health’s website.

“The circumstances that led up to a baby being born inside a cell are still under investigation,” a press release from the DOC said.
