The UConn women’s soccer team struggled on both ends of the ball on Sunday, as they were unable to put many quality shots on goal or prevent the same defensively.
In Sunday’s 3-1 win over Boston University, the UConn women’s soccer team got back one of their most important players, junior midfielder Sophia Danyko-Kulchycky.
The UConn women’s soccer team could not win back-to-back games for the first time this season in their midweek matchup against Ivy-League opponent Brown. On the road in Providence Thursday night, the Huskies lost to the Bears 2-0 to fall to 2-2-1 on the young season. Brown remained undefeated at 3-0 with the win.
Now healed, Kess Elmore has been a fixture at the top of the UConn women’s soccer team’s starting 11 and in the goal column.
While students were still getting settled into their new housing back in Storrs, the UConn women’s soccer team took care of business in their temporary housing in Hartford, handing the visiting Fairfield Stags a 3-0 loss Sunday night.
