Water systems near the University of Connecticut are exhibiting some climate-related changes, including more severe dry periods and stronger storms, said UConn’s Office of Environmental Policy Director Rich Miller.

USG presidential candidate Priyanka Thakkar was found guilty by the USG Judiciary of multiple campaign violations, including failing to submit her campaign roster and budget on time, illegally hanging a poster in the Information Technologies Engineering building and tabling in Homer Babbidge Library. Thakkar’s campaign lost a total of 188 votes and gained three strikes.
The Undergraduate Student Government plans to address the possible $800,000 in unspent funding rollover from previous years and will work to reduce the amount by increasing funding for Tier II organizations and internal USG initiatives, USG president Ama Appiah said at the organization’s first press conference of the year Wednesday.
