SMU (10-0-1) bounced back after its 3-3 draw against UCF by defeating USF 3-0 away on Friday for its third American conference match up. Midfielder Gabriel Costa scored the first goal of the match for the Mustangs in the 28th minute after receiving the ball from midfielder Knut Ahlander and putting the ball in the right corner of the net.
The UConn men’s soccer team settled for a 2-2 draw against Dartmouth at Burnham Field Tuesday night in Hannover, New Hampshire. Senior forward Jordan Hall opened the scoring and junior midfielder Ahdan Tait notched his first goal of the season to double the lead, but the Huskies allowed the Big Green to score a pair of late second half goals to scrape out the tie.
Despite a hard-fought 90 minutes, the UConn men’s soccer team was once again unable to convert their chances to points against USF, losing their first conference matchup 2-1. As the halfway point of the season approaches, the Huskies are in desperate need of a change if they hope to salvage something this year.
