For the second-consecutive weekend, the UConn field hockey team will hit the road for a pair of contests. First up is Big East rival Quinnipiac on Friday before a top-10 matchup with sixth-ranked Princeton. Now No. 4 and with a blemish on their record, the Huskies will look to continue their dominant season into conference play that includes three shutouts.

The University of Connecticut (UConn) field hockey team will look to bounce back from their first loss of the season with games against Providence and Princeton this weekend. The Huskies will play in Providence this Friday at 6 p.m. for a matchup with the Friars before playing host to the fifth-ranked Tigers this Sunday at noon on Senior Day.

It was a historic weekend for UConn field hockey. UConn received some historically great offense to pick up two road wins against Villanova and No. 14 Princeton. The Huskies set a new program record after scoring 12 goals in their shutout of Villanova on Friday night.
