Ding-Dong: Week 9 Tricks and TreatsÂ

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills
Every time quarterbacks Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes are on the same field, spectators are handed the equivalent of a king-sized candy bar on Halloween. The last time these two opponents faced off was Jan. 26, when the Chiefs bested the Bills 32-29. The Bills will seek vengeance this week with a heavy reliance on James Cook. The fourth year running back was unstoppable this past Sunday, rushing for 216 yards on 19 carries with two trips to the end zone. After their crushing 40-9 victory over the Carolina Panthers, Buffalo will seek their sixth victory in the comfort of their own home. However, Kansas City is also coming off its own landslide victory, as it held the Las Vegas Raiders scoreless in a 31-0 blowout. Patrick Mahomes was rolling in the backfield as he fired over 280 yards along with three touchdowns. The heated series between the rivals will continue this Sunday at 4:25 p.m.
Atlanta Falcons vs. New England Patriots
The good news is that the Pats should have little difficulty in continuing their five-game winning streak this week. The bad news is that this 1 p.m. matchup with the Falcons won’t be anything close to the caliber of their famous battle, Super Bowl LI battle. While New England has found something like Tom Brady with Drake Maye, the Falcons have nothing to compare to Matt Ryan. Their current quarterback, Kirk Cousins, displayed a weak performance last Sunday against the struggling Miami Dolphins. Cousins is a 14-year pro and only threw for 173 yards with zero completions in the end zone. For New England, fans couldn’t be more pleased with Maye, as the gunslinger did what he does best in the 32-13 win over the Cleveland Browns. Fantasy users can expect a big day from the Patriots’ offense as they welcome the Falcons to Foxborough.
Chicago Bears vs. Cincinnati Bengals
The claws will be on full display this Sunday at 1 p.m. as the Bengals welcome the Bears into The Jungle. With both teams coming off critical losses, their playoff chances are quickly slipping away, meaning this matchup should be a total treat. The Bengals fell by a point to hand New York their first win of the season. Quarterback Joe Flacco continued to prove he still has gas left in the tank, throwing over 230 yards with a pair of touchdowns in the mix. The Bears suffered a greater loss to the Baltimore Ravens, coming up short by 14 points. Wide receiver Rome Odunze still had quite the day in fantasy, as the second-year player recorded 18.4 points for users. As both the 3-5 Bengals and 4-3 Bears look to bounce back, fantasy users and TV streamers will be delighted with this cross-conference battle.
Best of luck, Huskies.
