In September 2022, singer, songwriter and actor Sabrina Carpenter released Sweet Tooth, her debut fragrance in an iconic chocolate bar-shaped bottle. Since then, she has released four other perfumes: Caramel Dream, Cherry Baby, Me Espresso and Lemon Pie. As a proud owner of all five, I’m here to give you a short and sweet review of these fragrances.

To start is the fourth release, Me Espresso, released in April 2024. This is named after her hit song, “Espresso,” and comes in a light blue bottle. The top notes — cocoa, espresso bean, jasmine and vanilla orchid — are complimented by caramel and sugared amber. Unlike most of her other scents, this would be considered more mature, as it lacks the same sweetness as the others.
Me Espresso is intended to have a warm and comforting scent, as it’s inspired by coffee and cafés. However, potentially due to Carpenters’ target audience or the rapid change in scent profiles, it has received many bad reviews. The only event I can see this fragrance being used for is perhaps a nice rainy day when you may just want to smell cozy. Unfortunately, I must place Me Espresso in last place.
Next, we have the debut fragrance: Sweet Tooth. This perfume and its pink bottle are the opposite of Me Espresso. Sweet Tooth’s scent is made up of candied ginger and chocolate marshmallow, with notes of vanilla.
Staying true to its name, this perfume is very sweet, likely catering to Carpenters’ audience of teens and young adults. Because of this sweetness, I can see it as an ideal first perfume, used for something like a school dance. This makes it bad for business settings and potentially sickening as an everyday perfume. With all of this in mind, I must place Sweet Tooth in fourth place.
To follow the debut, we have Carpenters’ second effort. Released in August 2023, Caramel Dream comes in a light brown bottle. Smelling of caramelized amber and a musky allure, with undertones of citrus and almond, this can be a perfect everyday perfume for some. The perfume’s soft musk makes it ideal for a trip to the bookstore or simply a lazy day at home. However, still being a sweet perfume, it may be too young for some people’s taste. While it’s not as intense as Sweet Tooth, it’s still quite sweet, with limited instances in which it can be used. Out of these five perfumes, Caramel Dream is in third.

For this next perfume, we jump to the present. In December 2025, Carpenter released Lemon Pie. This warm perfume comes in a light yellow bottle with the savory smell of graham cracker and notes of sweet lemon and vanilla, creating a soft scent.
This perfume has a lighter smell best suited for the summertime. While it wouldn’t pair with many winter events or activities, Lemon Pie would be the perfect scent for a picnic or a walk through the garden. Lemon Pie therefore earns second place in the rankings.
And finally, the winner of this sweet but headache-inducing battle is Cherry Baby! Released in July 2024, Cherry Baby comes in a red bottle and continues to stay at the top of my list. Not as sweet as Sweet Tooth but not as warm as Lemon Pie or Me Espresso, Cherry Baby continues to be one of my most versatile scents. Smelling strongly of cherries, chocolate and poppy, with undertones of vanilla and musk, Cherry Baby contains a smell that can shift from being sultry while on a dinner date to sweet for a sunny day. Unlike the others, Cherry Baby can be paired with any outfit or event year-round, making it number one!
