UConn Woodsmen host 5th Annual Jack and Jill Home Meet on Saturday

The UConn Woodsmen, a club timbersports team made up of students from all majors and skill levels, held its 5th Annual Jack and Jill Home Meet on Saturday, Feb. 27 in the Ratcliffe Hicks Arena.

The competition featured schools and professionals from around the northeast, including Colby College and SUNY Cobleskill, among many others. Teams squared off in a series of events, from sawing to chopping to axe throwing.

UConn senior Will Oliver, featured in the video below, is the club’s president and helped oversee the event alongside meet coordinator Kathryn McAdoo. The event was Oliver’s last Jack and Jill meet as a UConn student. He is set to graduate in May.
