Today, Oct. 24, all Insomnia Cookie locations – including the one in Storrs Center – will offer one free traditional cookie with any purchase in celebration of the company opening its 100th store across 29 states.
The offer will be valid Monday 9 a.m. through Tuesday Oct. 25 at 3 a.m. at all locations, according to Insomnia Cookies’ press release.
Insomnia Cookies began 13 years ago, starting out in a dorm room at the University of Pennsylvania and expanded rapidly from there, becoming “the cookie choice for college students, parents, professionals and the like,” according to Insomnia Cookie’s website.
“We couldn’t have made it to 100 stores without the efforts of our team members and the immense loyalty of our fans across the country,” Chief Operating Officer David Lasus said. “What better way to celebrate the occasion than by giving away free cookies.”
The company will also be giving away prizes throughout the day via social media for those who share posts using the hashtag “#Icelebrate100” on Facebook (insomniacookies), Twitter (@InsomniaCookies), Instagram (@InsomniaCookiesOfficial) and Snapchat (@CookiesVIP), according to Insomnia Cookies’ website.
Insomnia Cookies is located at 1 Dog Lane, Suite 107 in Storrs Center and is open from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m. tomorrow.
