On Wednesday, March 15, HBO will air the third episode of “UConn: The March to Madness” on HBO. The episode will air on HBO at 10 p.m. and will be available to stream on HBO GO and and HBO Now at 7 a.m. Thursday, March 16.

After the hour-long debut two weeks ago that focused on the team on and off the court and last week’s episode that dove into the Huskies’ American Athletic Conference tournament championship run, episode three looks to focus more on the life of Geno Auriemma and the Huskies gearing up for yet another NCAA tournament run after not playing for nearly two weeks since the American championship game.

Like episode two, episode three will also be a 30-minute long episode.

Auriemma was born in Italy and came to America when he was young, falling in love with the game of basketball in the U.S and becoming a naturalized American citizen in 1994 at age 40. After serving as an assistant coach at St. Joseph’s, Bishop Kendrick high school and the University of Virginia from 1978-85, Auriemma took over as head coach of the Huskies and has become arguably the greatest head coach in NCAA history with 11 national champions and a current record of 987-134.
