Dear Editor,
Thank you, UConn ladies, for much more then a great basketball season. Your actions on and off the court are the reason we love you. To us, your fans, you are our daughters and granddaughters. Thank you for providing light to a long dreary winter. You are part of a sisterhood that started back in the 90’s and grew through the years. We see this when the cameras scan the fans. In interviews you can’t praise each enough, that includes the walk-ons to the top stars. When you start your new season this fall, we will be there cheering you on, like any good adoptive parent.
