The Student Union Board of Governors (SUBOG) posted on their social media accounts Sunday night that Bob Saget will headline this year’s comedy show and Evan Peters will be the guest lecturer for Spring Weekend.
Saget is best known for his role as Danny Tanner on “Full House” and the voice of future Ted Mosby on “How I Met Your Mother.”
He has been doing stand-up that is adult oriented for a number of years.
Peters is most notable for his time on the cult-favorite “American Horror Story.”
Spring Weekend will be held from Thursday, April 20 to Saturday, April 22. Saget will perform on Friday, and Peters will speak on Saturday. A schedule of all of the events will be posted on springweekend.uconn.edu.
Tickets are free for students and available for pick-up on Monday, April 10 at the Jorgensen of Performing Arts box office. Hours are weekdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
