The UConn men’s basketball team landed their second JUCO commit of the year in Kwintin Williams, a 6-foot-7, 215 pound forward from Pima College in Tuscon, Arizona.

In the 2015-16 season, Williams averaged 18.0 points per game on 55 percent shooting and 8.3 rebounds per game. He transferred last year, but didn’t play, to Arizona Western to preserve his remaining three years of eligibility.

What Williams lacks in size, he makes up for in athleticism. He gained national attention after several videos of him dunking were featured on Vice Sports.

A native of Anchorage, Alaska, Williams first committed to playing basketball at Oregon before academics prevented him from doing so. As a junior transfer, he will be eligible to play for UConn immediately.
