University of Connecticut students must make desired changes to their class schedules by Monday, Sept. 11 to avoid those changes showing up on their transcripts, according to the Office of the Registrar.

To add or drop a class, students must login to their Student Admin account and navigate to “Enroll,” which is listed under the Academics tab in the Student Center. From there, students can click on the tabs reading “add,” “drop” and “swap” and follow the steps to edit their schedule.

Late add/drop begins on Sept. 12. During this period of time students can still add or drop classes, but they will be required to get additional signatures to do so.

To add a class to their schedule, students are required to get a signature from the dean of their college or school, and must do so by Tuesday, Sept. 26.

The latest possible date for students to drop a class is Monday, Oct. 30.  A “W” for “withdrawal” will show up on their transcripts if they drop it past the Sept. 11 deadline. October 30 is also the last day students can convert a course on Pass/Fail option to a letter grade.

Students can contact the Office of the Registrar, located in the Wilbur Cross building, with any questions. The phone number for Records and Enrollment Services is (860) 486-3331 and the phone number for Scheduling is (860) 486-5948.
