The College Student Jeopardy! Test will be held Oct. 3 at 6 p.m., according to the official Jeopardy! website. The test can be taken online.
Students can go online to register for the test at Jeopardy.com. The upcoming Jeopardy! College Championship hosts 15 undergraduate students from universities across the nation. The students compete on the show to win up to $100,000 in scholarship money, according to Jeopardy.com.
Students on the University of Connecticut campus might not know about the test.
“Most students are unaware that the Jeopardy! Test exists,” first semester undecided major Justin Jones said. “It isn’t something that I would think to participate in, but would be a great opportunity to win money to put towards your education.”
There is also a practice test available on the Jeopardy website to help undergraduate students to prepare. Topics include everything from geography and astronomy, to books and popular culture.
“It would be something UConn students might be interested in,” said Jones.

Despite the show’s large following, the College Championship is relatively unknown to UConn students.
“Not enough…students know about the online test for college students,” Jones said.
