Several roads at the University of Connecticut’s Storrs campus will close Sunday morning for the Huskies Forever 5K.
The UConn Alumni Center hosts this annual race, which invites students, alumni, family and friends to join in a timed race around campus, according to the event’s website.
Alumni Drive, Gilbert Road, Glenbrook Road and Jim Calhoun Way will be closed between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m., according to an email sent by Assistant Director of Alumni Events Emily Murray.
Hillside Road and Mansfield Way will also be closed between Gilbert Road and Glenbrook Road, the email said.
Registration for the event begins at 7 a.m. and the race will kick off at 9 a.m., according to the race website.
