Gampel Pavilion has always been a staple in UConn history. From concerts to basketball games, all sorts of entertainment goes on in there.
To anyone who pays attention to sports, our basketball team is the best of the best. With numerous championship titles behind our name, there is always some impact when the ball is on the court.
There is definitely history with this building, as the banners hold a legacy of formidable players on both basketball teams.
In the national spotlight, every game has thousands of eyes on the court. Television crews set up and break down to show the rest of the world what we are capable of.
The crew operates with brutal efficiency, getting each and every part of the stadium ready for the students and fans alike.
While being a photographer with court-side seats is great, there is no greater feeling than watching a win, and feeling the energy the crowd puts out all game
Tradition is huge, and with every game comes a flurry of cell phone lights to introduce the UConn Huskies to the court.
With a full crowd and cheers at their backs, the Mens Basketball team gets ready to put out 110% effort.
Antwoine Anderson, a Graduate Student Guard, makes sure to put the pressure on in the early moments of the game.
And when the dust settles, and the scores are recorded, Gampel returns to its quiet interior; waiting for the next event.
