Last week, we brought you the Case of the Missing Final Exams. The investigation continues this week, with administration getting involved and a plan coming about to find out who was selling the exams.
Administration was able to figure out which fraternity was a participant when they learned of a student on campus who knew something about the missing final exams. After questioning, the student identified the fraternity involved, but said that was all she knew.
Gordon Reid, the acting director of men’s affairs, faculty members and the security department at the time, sought the help of many student leaders to attempt to find who was selling the exams.
Aaron Ment, the managing editor of the Daily Campus in 1956, was told to buy one of the final exams at any cost and name the seller. The attempt to buy an exam was unsuccessful.
The exams were never recovered.
