Students faced locked doors and closed signs Wednesday night at McMahon dining hall after it was forced to close due to a drainage problem.
McMahon stopped serving dinner after 5 p.m. according to Stephanie Reitz, University Spokesperson.
“Once they get the pipe and drainage repaired, they will be able to reopen,” Reitz said. “But not in time for tonight’s late night.”
The drainage problem did not pose a threat or health hazard to students, Reitz said.
A sign on the door of McMahon dining hall read “Due to faculty issues, McMahon is closed and it is unclear whether we will be reopening tonight. We suggest you eat at South campus or the student union tonight.”
