The Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) has completed its investigation into University of Connecticut Marching Band Director Dr. David Mills.
“The OIE investigation has been completed, and found no actions on the employee’s part that constitute either discrimination or harassment under the University’s Policy Against Discrimination, Harassment and Related Interpersonal Violence,” UConn spokesperson Stephanie Reitz said in an email Monday.
Mills was not scheduled to teach this semester regardless of the outcome of the investigation, UConn music department head Dr. Eric Rice said in an email Jan. 21.
“Dr. Mills was slated to be on sabbatical leave this semester,” Rice said. “So there is no disruption to his teaching schedule regardless of the outcome of the investigation for the time being.”
The full report has not yet been released.
