The fifth all-time leading scorer in UConn history, Ray Allen, will become the first UConn player to have his number retired by the university. His number will be retired during halftime of the Huskies’ afternoon matchup against USF on Sunday March 3, further etching his status as the best player to ever don a Husky uniform.
Fans will have the opportunity to interact with the Hall of Famer during a Q&A session in the morning. The event will take place in the Student Union Ballroom from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Allen will begin to speak at 10:45 a.m. The cost is $12 and includes an autographed copy of Allen’s book From the Outside: My Journey Through Life and the Game I Love, as well as coffee and pastries.
The books will be pre-signed, as the event does not feature an autograph/photo session. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase replica jerseys signed by Allen at the event. All who wish to attend the event can register through the link.
