In a video posted to the University of Connecticut chapter of “The Black Sheep” Twitter page, a dead moth appeared to have been found in a salad at Putnam dining hall Wednesday.
“STAY AWAY from Putnam dining hall today,” the post said.
The video, posted Wednesday afternoon, has gotten three retweets and 26 likes.
This isn’t the first time a bug has been found in dining hall food at UConn. In February 2018, a bug was found in the broccoli at South dining hall and in September 2018, worms were found in fish at McMahon.
“If there is an issue, bring it to our attention immediately so we can remedy and rectify it,” Dining Services director C. Dennis Pierce told the Daily Campus in September.
