The University of Connecticut Bookstore has a new student account program available to students starting in the fall 2019 semester.

Students can have bookstore purchases added directly to their University Fee Bill, according to the UConn Bookstore.

“Eligible students simply present their UConn ID at check out, online or in store,” the UConn Bookstore said in an email.

Students can charge up to $500 in purchases made between Aug. 1 and Nov. 15 for the Fall 2019 semester.

Students can opt-in to the account through Student Admin, according to the UConn Bookstore.

“In the Student Center, scroll down to Finances and click on student permissions. Read the “opt-in agreement” and submit using your Net ID as your electronic signature,” the UConn Bookstore said.

The UConn Bookstore reminds students that they are not obligated to opt-in and use the student account.
