In addition, Travis Roux placed first in the men’s weight throw with 20.02 meters. Then there’s Sinclaire Fryer, who placed first in the women’s shot put or Mia Dansby who placed second in the women’s 60-meters final.
In the USTFCCCA regional TFRI rankings, UConn’s men’s and women’s teams are top two in the rankings. The men’s indoor team has the top spot, while the women’s indoor team is second in the region, only being led by Harvard.
The consistency of the event squads has led to the high rankings with the men’s triple jump ranked second, men’s heptathlon ranking third, and the men’s long jump being ranked seventh. The women’s pentathlon team have also been very good, being ranked eighth.
