Over winter break, the Unrivaled League kicked off its second season with several UConn alumni. In total, six former Huskies will perform in the 2026 campaign. Not to mention, the league is co-founded by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier.

In this week’s rendition of Huskies in the Pros, I break down the performances of former Connecticut players.

Paige Bueckers:

From UConn to the WNBA to Unrivaled basketball, Bueckers continues to impress fans with her dominating performances.

Through nine games with the Breeze, the guard has yet to drop fewer than 15 points per meeting. In the 24-year-old’s most recent matchup with the Rose on Sunday, the former Husky posted a season-high 32 points.

Currently, the Minnesota native tops the team with slightly under 25 points, snags just over six rebounds and dishes out nearly seven assists per outing.

From the floor, Bueckers thrives, splashing a little more than 55% of her shots and draining just over 44% from the three-point line.

Next up, the Breeze will host the Hive on Friday, Feb. 6, on TNT or truTV. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Stewart:

Similar to Bueckers, Stewart has crushed the start of the 2026 stretch with the Mist.

So far, the forward has registered the second-most points for the squad with about 19.5 points per match. Not to mention, the veteran leads the team with just over nine boards and completes 2.5 assists per clash.

Within eight bouts, the former Husky shoots just over 49% from the field but only buries 25% of her buckets from downtown.

As of now, the Mist faced the Laces on the road last night and will return home to battle the Phantom on Saturday, Feb. 7, on truTV. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:45 p.m.

Aaliyah Edwards:

After experiencing an uneasy 2025 WNBA run and getting traded from the Washington Mystics to the Connecticut Sun, Edwards will now become a Lunar Owl with Collier.

Through seven contests with the Lunar Owls, the forward averages almost 21.5 points, 13 rebounds and two assists per game. Additionally, the Canadian native has recorded six double-doubles.

The former Husky excels in the paint, banking about 57% of her shots and nailing 50% of tries from long range.

Injury-wise, Edwards is healthy but did not participate in the Owls’ last two showdowns. During this time, the 23-year-old returned to UConn to be inducted into the Huskies of Honor on Jan. 28.

Next up, the Lunar Owls will take on the Laces on Feb. 6, on TNT or truTV. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:45 p.m.

Azurà Stevens:

Within the previous four meetings with the Rose, Stevens has struggled to return to double-digit figures.

In her first four performances, the forward contributed slightly over 15.3 points per outing. In contrast to her four recent showings, the former Husky accumulated 4.5 points per match.

So far in eight games, the 30-year-old tallies nearly 10 points, a little more than six rebounds and 1.5 assists per faceoff.

Currently, Stevens cashes in 39% of field goals and swishes almost 30% of shots from beyond the arc.

Next up, the Rose will fight with the Vinyl on Saturday, Feb. 7, on truTV. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Tiffany Hayes:

In the Phantom’s last three clashes, Hayes caught fire and finished the night with at least 12 points in every matchup.

Within eight games played, the veteran has posted slightly under 12.5 points, just under 3.5 boards and a little less than three assists per battle.

From inside the perimeter, the 36-year-old sinks almost 46% of her shots and makes just over 35% of three-pointers.

Next up, the Phantom will visit the Mist on Saturday, Feb. 7, on truTV. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:45 p.m.

Katie Lou Samuelson:

After suffering a season-ending torn ACL during a Los Angeles Sparks’ practice in May, Lou Samuelson forfeited her 2025-2026 WNBA and Unrivaled seasons to recover.

Collier:

Similar to Lou Samuelson, Collier underwent surgery on both of her ankles in January, forcing her to the sidelines for four to six months.
