Whether you’re up late studying at Homer Babbidge Library or at a party with all your friends, we all know the feeling of needing that late night snack — something to satiate cravings before you call it a night or continue studying (or partying). So, here is a list of the best late-night spots around Storrs and what you can get from them.

D.P. Dough: 1232 Storrs Road

A tried-and-true University of Connecticut staple, D.P. Dough offers students a variety of calzones to choose from. It’s the kind of place that is still busy after everything else has shut down, as it’s open until 2 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and until 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.

Grab a classic like The Cheese Zone or try something new like the Maui Wowi (mozzarella, pineapple and ham). They deliver, too, so you don’t even have to leave your dorm.

Wings Over Storrs: 153 N. Eagleville Road

If you’re craving wings, Wings Over Storrs is another great late-night option, open until 1 a.m. most nights and until 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Order a tray of boneless wings in one of their dozens of flavors, add a side of garlic parm fries and have a fountain drink to finish it off. Like D.P. Dough, they deliver straight to campus.

Domino’s: 1244 Storrs Road

Sometimes you might need something classic that can feed many people quickly, and in that case, the Domino’s location in downtown has you covered. It’s a familiar name that delivers directly to UConn residence halls very quickly, making it an easy call when you’re already back and snuggled in your dorm.

Insomnia Cookies: 1 Dog Lane #107

If you just need dessert, Insomnia Cookies is the way to go. Found almost exclusively near college campuses, Insomnia Cookies is built exactly for when you’re needing a late-night sweet treat to satisfy your cravings. Warm, gooey cookies and ice cream sandwiches are available with a late delivery window that makes it so convenient.

At the end of the day, late night cravings are just part of the UConn experience, whether you’re pulling an all-nighter at the library or winding down after a night out with friends. The best part is you don’t have to choose between finishing a paper and getting a bite to eat. From D.P. Dough’s calzones to a box of warm cookies from Insomnia, Storrs has late night food figured out. So next time that 11 p.m. hunger hits, save yourself the trouble of scrolling through DoorDash and pick one of these great spots; your stomach will thank you.
