The University of Connecticut’s Undergraduate Student Government is hosting its Back to School Supply Fair today on Fairfield Way from 1 to 3 p.m.
The fair will include “supplies like pencils, colored pens, highfliers, folders, Post-It notes and more,” according to Zeba Vora, director of academic affairs for USG.
This is not all that the fair will provide, as USG has partnered with Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck to supply fair refreshments.
This vendor, founded in Kentucky in 2020, will provide “provide refreshments and fall-themed beverages like pumpkin flavored cappuccino and apple cider,” Voya said.
The event is free and open to all UConn students, according to a post the USG Instagram page.
This fair is a non-annual event, according to Vora, however it aligns with the “academic care fair events for the USG.”
If students want to get involved in planning similar fairs or other events with USG, they can do so by attending senate, caucus or committee meetings. The schedule of meetings can be found on the USG Instagram page.
