Welcome to the annual Valentine’s Day Issue! For the eighth year in a row, The Daily Campus Life Section has put together an array of stories that are sure to make you smile. Now let’s be clear, Valentine’s Day itself is complicated. Whether you’re spending the day enjoying the company of a loved one, or staying inside and enjoying the company of your favorite cheesy rom-com, hoping that one day you’ll find true love — no one way to celebrate Valentine’s Day is more valid than another.

No matter how you choose to spend the day, the Life Section has guides, media recommendations and even a pickup line tierlist for you to make the best of the holiday. It’s the one day of the year when those gushy feelings can surface publicly without anyone batting an eye, so why not embrace them?

Keeping to tradition, you’ll also find the results of our Valentine’s Day survey. Get to know the Husky community better by reading their accounts of the ups and downs of romance and a few entertaining

— maybe even concerning — dating and sex stories. Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey!

Have a lovely Valentine’s Day!

XOXO
