As students put the first week of the fall semester behind them, important deadlines for courses and midterms are closer than they may think.

The last day to add or drop classes is Sept. 10, according to the UConn Office of the Registrar. Any classes added or dropped after this require additional signatures, and will show a “W” on the student’s academic record.

Sept. 10 is also the last day to declare a class as pass/fail, according to the Office of the Registrar. Students have until Oct. 29 to convert a pass/fail class back to a letter grade class.

Any classes added after Sept. 25 require a Dean’s signature. According to the Office of the Registrar, the last day to drop a class is Oct. 29.

Thanksgiving recess will be the week of Nov. 18, according to the Office of the Registrar, and final exams will be the week of Dec. 10.

A full schedule for the fall semester can be found on the Office of the Registrar’s website.
