Students at the University of Connecticut in 1966 had the option to store their dorm belongings in residence halls over the summer.

All dorms on campus except for North Campus and Shippee were eligible to participate in the program.

How dorm rooms for storage would be allotted was up to the individual residence halls, but administration suggested it be on a semester-standing basis or distance to student’s homes.

This program was initiated by the previous years’ class president and gained approval by the residence hall director.
