Candidate Samuel Bruder is running for the Mansfield Town Council as a member of the Democratic Party. Bruder is an alumnus of the University of Connecticut School of Law and graduated in May 2018 with a Master of Laws in Human Rights and Social Justice.
Bruder is currently a Caseflow Coordinator for the Judicial Branch of Connecticut in Wethersfield, Connecticut, where he has worked since 2006, according to his resume on LinkedIn.
Bruder did not respond to requests for comment.
Bruder is the only Union-endorsed candidate in the Mansfield Municipal Elections, according to his campaign literature.
“‘U & I in Union’ Makes us strong!” the literature also reads.
According to his Twitter, @SamBruder, Bruder has been updating his followers with a weekly, and now daily, countdown to the Mansfield elections.
“There are 11 candidates running for 9 seats on the #MansfieldCT Town Council. You can choose up to 6 and I would please ask to be one of those choices on Tuesday,” Bruder wrote.
