It’s an exciting time here at the University of Connecticut, as the women’s basketball team is back in the Final Four this weekend. Campus is buzzing in anticipation of this weekend’s games and rightfully so, as the team looks ready to win it all. That being said, the music won’t be silent this weekend, as we’ve still got a great lineup of shows coming up. Here’s a look at where to catch live music this weekend in Storrs and across Connecticut.

The bill features Film & Gender, a two-piece punk act that maintains one of the most consistent show schedules of any band in the Nutmeg state, as well as Showgirl, a Storrs regular.
Also on the bill is Symposia, the nu metal-influenced band that’s bringing their heavy, yet groovy, sound to the most prominent basement in Storrs. Rounding out the lineup is Anita Velveeta.
