Volleyball: Parker, McGary lead Huskies to 3-0 win

In a Tuesday night clash between interstate squads UConn and Quinnipiac, the Huskies took the victory 3-0.

Freshman Caylee Parker recorded 13 kills in her third consecutive match. Iman McGary and Genna Florig also looked solid, adding 12 and nine kills, respectively.

Senior Emma Turner added to her season assist total with 40 against the Bobcats, also adding two aces to her stat sheet. UConn as a team had an advantage in assists 49-21.

Elizabeth Kline defensively tallied 17 digs for the Huskies as she continues to be a defensive anchor for her teammates.

UConn will look to build off a strong first four games as it hosts the University of New Hampshire this Friday at noon.
